Double ka meeta

Ingredients used in Double ka meeta

  • Pista – 1/4 cup.
  • Lime juice – 4 drops.
  • Cahsew nuts – ½ cup.
  • Ghee or fresh oil – to fry.
  • Milk – 500 ml.
  • Safron color – 1 pinch.
  • Cardamom – 3 numbers.
  • Water – 2 cups.
  • Sugar – 2 cups.
  • Bread – 10 slice.
  • Almonds – ½ cup.
  • Dated – ½ cup.
  • Raisins – ½ cup.

Method:

  • Cut bread into halves of the triangle and let them dry overnight, fry in ghee till golden brown.
  • Make sugar syrup flavored with cardamom and few drops of lime juice and saffron color.
  • Make rabdi with milk (slowly boil milk till it is reduced to 1/4).
  • Take fried bread soak in sugar syrup for few seconds and remove.

Put all nuts and dry fruits over the sweetened bread and pour over rabdi serve warm.
